i have never really heard latin jazz but i like pretty much everything i hear except new country and new rap - hip hop.  i play bass and congas and native handdrums which i think is what your looking for - i'm sure if i hear it i can groove with it i also play guitar and sing.  i think it would be fun to do something more traditional and dance oriented - i think i could make an impression if u heard my skills and doing something fresh; to me anyway, would be exciting
