Keys and/or Sax ... for working bands

I'm not sure how to respond to your ad.  The Northern Shenandoah Valley is quite a hotbed for quality musicians.  If you're having problems finding them it's because the majority of them are already playing in the numerous bands in the area.  Being a longtime musician in this area I'm a little offended by your attitude toward "unprofessional musicians", "get the picture", "I need professionals".  Chances are you'll find quality musicians to fill your need but I hope you'll change your mindset and not think you're better than them or any of the other fine musicians in the area.  Just a thought.

Sounds like a great band! Let me know if the drummer position opens up in your band or if you need a sub...

Not to come off sounding mean, but myself and a few others are somewhat tired of unprofessional musicians responding only to find out we are not basement band players. But serious musicians.  We have spots open for Keyboards/Piano, guitar and percussion. We will play R&B, Blues, Smooth Jazz, Country, Pop and Folk/Gospel. Remember Prince, Cameo, Earth Wind/Fire, Journey, Jeffrey Osborne, Commodores, The Jacksons, Mint Condition, Time, Average White Band, Luther Vandross, Chaka Khan, K.C. and the Sunshine Band, Raschal Flatts, Wild Cherry, Bobby Caldwell. Get the picture......so I need professionals that CAN come to practice and CAN answer a text message and CAN answer a phone call within a few hours. If you are too busy to practice, or too good to practice then this ad is not for you. We have full of gear, all you have to do is be serious and show up with your talent and lets get the sets down and go make some cheddar.
We rehearse in Charles Town WV,

Band Leader with 3 working projects has possible openings for keys ( more piano than organ ?) and/or sax (plus percussion, flute, harp, vocals ?) ... Music is Blues, R&R, R&B, funk, cajun and original tunes. We do not "cover" songs ... we re-invent them. If you're a team player and you want fun, local work w/o the drama, you should check us out.
Have practice space in Charles Town and recording studio in Martinsburg. Basic song lists in place, open to your suggestions. Gigs on the books.
