A new venue is opening at 202 North Main Street, in Broadway, VA this summer, a 5000+ square foot community café called Plan B. 

Plan B will have live acoustic, traditional, folk, blues, bluegrass, classic rock, jazz, and classical music. It will also showcase local artists and offer food that features espresso and regular coffees, teas, blended drinks, hand-made baked goods, soups, Panini sandwiches, and specialty salads, with emphasis on locally grown and crafted items on the menu.

In addition to well-known musicians on Friday and Saturday nights, Plan B will have an extensive schedule of special activities for the entire week including:

Jam Sessions for local musicians

Open mike night with recording capabilities

Saturday matinee for kids of all ages with old movies, magic, puppet and talent shows

Local Story-tellers night, including liars, punsters, when I was a kid and other formats

Afternoon adult activities including Yoga for Wimps and OTHA Tai-chi (Over The Hill Adult), and couples dancing

Occasional Sunday afternoon gospel groups
