The third annual Barrels, Barbecue and Bands is scheduled for May 19 at Cave Ridge Vineyard in Mount Jackson! Shenandoah Valley Music Festival is in charge of the music. We're looking to showcase three or four bluegrass/Americana bands that afternoon. It won't interfere with any evening gigs you may have. The public attending the event votes on its favorite and the band with the most votes gets a slot on the Main Stage in Orkney Springs this summer! The May 19 gig is unpaid - the Orkney gig is paid.
