Mockingbird Staunton VA Closing

Mockingbird is now closed.

Mockingbird closed its doors for good Sunday January 6th. We want to thank you and the entire community for your support. We have a wonderful staff that has been committed to serving you and we want to thank them and commend them for a job well done.

They are currently looking for a suitable and experienced entrepreneur / restaurateur to take over the space and music venue. If you are interested please don't hesitate to contact them at:

Mockingbird in Staunton VA Closing is NOT a good thing for the Shenandoah Valley...
We need to get more musicians and venues working together to support CSM.

Community Supported Music in Virginia - Unfortunately, too many people choose not to care about local music or local music venues. They are unaware of all of the positive things that local music events can do for towns and the local community in which they live. In order for CSM to work we need to build an expanding membership of musicians and music venues that really want to take part in this GrassRoots effort.

We were sad to hear:

The Mockingbird Staunton VA has Closed!

What a shame. We saw David Bromberg there and took this Video:

We got out to the open mic one night as well and had a great time.
I hope someone else will take the venue over.
