My name is Dan Mazer. Using the stage name "BanjerDan," I'm a banjo player/multi-instrumentalist based in Warrenton, VA. My music is an Americana mix, rooted in straight-ahead bluegrass and branching out to include folk, country, blues, oldies, and other styles. I've performed all over the U.S. and internationally, as a solo artist, as a member of bands and orchestras, and in theatrical productions. I usually perform as a soloist, but I can also put together a hot progressive bluegrass band called "BanjerDan's DangerBand."

In addition to my solo and band performances, I'm a member of "J.B. Beverley & The Wayward Drifters," an acoustic honky-tonk trio featuring the heartfelt songwriting, powerful vocals, and dynamic stage presence of J.B. Beverley. For more information on The Wayward Drifters, please visit these websites:
In between solo shows and Wayward Drifters gigs, I'm available to sit in with bands, for recording sessions, and for lessons on banjo, guitar, mandolin, and dobro.
