Please note change of contact info, is the reason for bumping this.   Thank You.

I'm a strong Reno style player, also influenced by J.D. Crowe.  Also play contemporary style bluegrass banjo.

Ribbons include Galax Fiddlers Convention, 2x Grand Champion Fiddlers Grove NC, 5x 1st Place State Fair, 2nd Place East Coat Banjo Competition, 1st Place Mount Airy Fiddlers Convention, 1st Place Yadkin Fiddlers Convention, 1st Place Maury River Fiddlers Convention and many more ribbons.

I'm a non-drinker, non-smoker ...  will not play in honky-tonks or smoke-filled events.

Will travel and practice in the Shenandoah Valley from Winchester to Staunton, from Warrenton to Culpeper, to Charlottesville and immediate surrounding areas.

Serious player, will do my homework.

Thanks for considering.

Can provide youtube video links at request by email.

We found this fun-loving guy lives within 30 minutes and called him to ask if he had a band to play at our family reunion. He said he could scrounge up some pickers and give us a fun show  and he only asked to take up a collection for his three buddies and that if he give us this link for us to give feedback is all we owed him.  We got 3 hours of good music and his endless clean and funny jokes that left us in stitches.  His slow southern accent as he told us funny stories added warmth to our old southern Virginia get-together and he's also a military veteran and he fit well with the veterans in our family.  Why he wants to remain anon is beyond us, as he belongs on his own TV show but we are doing here the one thing he asked of us for sharing his time and uniting with our family.  WE have made a new friend.  OH and we never knew this kind of website existed so have marked it!  we actually heard about this banjo player from a friend nearby.
